Learning a new language doesn’t have to be stressful or complicated. There are 3 things that you need to make it a success, NO MATTER HOW OLD YOU ARE. Your classes need to be comprehensible, in context and compelling. The days of long thematic vocabulary lists and complicated grammar rules are long gone. These classes focus on conversational Spanish. And are designed for beginners or students with knowledge of the language but no communicative ability. Classes are held weekly in person (8 students max) or virtual (zoom).

Many adults still want to learn how to Speak Spanish. I guide the adult learner through engaging conversation and storytelling to build basic fluency. There will be lots of laughs and low stress.
Adult Beginner Conversation Fall Series!
Class begins on Tuesday August 18th. 13 week session ending on Tuesday November 10, 2026.
Fun and stress free classes!
What: Your opportunity to ACTUALLY learn how to Speak Spanish. In this winter session we will co-create a story using the most commonly used words in Spanish. Each class will include reading and negotiation of meaning through guided speaking. Your brain is going to work really hard and you are going to learn a lot. This class is perfect if you have tried other things like Duolingo or other Spanish classes but nothing seems to stick!
When: Tuesdays from August 18th - November 10th.
Where: 6pm - 7:00ish @ The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.

Price: $400 + $25 fee for planning and preparation + $7.00 service fee.

Middle / High School
Small Group Conversation Class
Mondays IN PERSON - LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE.
Wednesday ON ZOOM 4:15pm - 5:15pm PST
Classes begin Monday JANUARY 12, 2026
Small group instruction for middle / high school students takes place on a weekly basis. The purpose of these sessions is to SPEAK Spanish. So if you are feeling let down by your school’s program, come sit in a small group and chat about life in a stress free and highly engaging environment.
Each session is only 1 hour and is designed to have an isolated topic of conversation each week. Students and families have the flexibility to come monthly or per semester.
Class fee is $350 + $25 planning / preparation fee. - $375 OR $75 Monthly
Sessions are held in my home studio in South Huntington Beach or virtually via Zoom. I am an approved vendor for Cabrillo Point Charter School.
